The Narthex, The Cathedral of St John the Baptist

Since completion in 2010 The Narthex has been a great success: in constant use, popular with visitors and staff, a huge asset for the Cathedral. The design has also been highly praised, something of an irony when one recalls how difficult it was to get Planning Approval. This month the building was awarded two design prizes by the Norwich Society.
